The first rescue squad vehicle was purchased by the Lions Club back in early 1950's and they also purchased the first vehicle to be used by the Tri-Troy Ambulance Service in 1970. They have continued to support the East Troy Fire Department, Rescue Squad, and Ambulance Service throughout the years by donating to various fund raising drives and by purchasing equipment for  their use.

Other endeavors undertaken by the Club were to sponsor boys to Badger Boys State; collected rubber salvage and aluminum for the war effort; purchased a franchise in the Land-O-Lakes baseball league in 1946; sponsored the High School Band to several state conventions, pledged $870 in stock for erecting a building for Trent Engineering Co.; built stands at the Amusement Park; assisted in the organization of a Boy Scout Troop; worked hard to get lights at the Park for night baseball back in  1948; have sponsored a scholarship for high school
graduates for further their education; help to sponsor Post Prom; donated to send the band to Disney World and the cheerleaders to camp; provide food baskets as Christmas and sponsor the Toys for Tots program for Christmas in East Troy. In addition, they purchase eyeglasses and hearing aids for needy East Troy community residents.

Lions members are active in providing recreation for the community. They have provided funds for lighting for the athletic field for softball use, purchased uniforms for the Land-O-Lakes baseball team, and funded towards the fitness trail constructed on the high school property. They also purchased and installed all of the guard rail that enclosed the parking area at the Amusement Park and that which divides the park area from the street. Lions members also planted trees along the guard rail area and around the library, and black topped the library parking lot. In recent years, they have provided toward funds for the

construction of the rest rooms at the upper level of Booth Lake Memorial Park and installed a new sound system at East Troy's Village Square. They have rebuilt the bleachers at the Park, painted the buildings at the Park and the grandstand, and donated a water fountain and trees on the Square.
